The features of selling your home absolutely has to include the surroundings. So make it easy for the buyer to chose your home by providing the information they will absolutely ask for anyway. They can see your gorgeous home but they can't see the benefits of the town. Only you know what makes your town special so provide that something "extra!"
Are you close to mass transit? Are you close to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's? Is there an amazing coffee cafe that you have to stop by every week? What about the parks nearby? There are public tennis courts and golf courses! What about swim clubs nearby?
Of course your REALTOR should know the basics of your town! But, only you know what makes it tick! What bagel joint do you love every Sunday morning? Do you walk or bike ride on a special path? These are the things that make a house a HOME! So make sure you share these wonderful attributes with potential buyers! Start thinking now and keep a list nearby to add to while you're preparing your home for sale. It's these simple extras that buyers love to see and believe me, it does make a difference!
