IF YOU WANT TO START TO PREPARE YOUR HOME FOR SALE.....HERE ARE TIPS TO MAKE IT EASY!
BLUE TAPE, SPACKLE, BRUSHES, SAND PAPER, AND COFFEE!
The people at Westfield Lumber are amazing! They can help you choose colors or even match paint you've already used in your home. If you take about an inch of wall from a corner piece of a room, they can match your paint color. Why you ask? Well, when moving out of your home it's best to fill in minor marks and holes from pictures. I have found that the spackle that works very well and is easy to use is the type where it is applied in either pink or purple and when it dries, turns white. Then you know when it's ready to sand. You can buy sand paper or a sand block to make sure the wall is smooth before painting.
We are all do it yourselves now with the aid of YouTube videos and Home Depot. So if you have time, try it yourself (click on the link - PAINTING TIPS).
When you remove all of your furnishings, the buyer will see every nick and mark in the walls during the walk-thru. Although you're almost at the finish line--meaning the closing table--it is recommended that you leave the home clean and tidy. I know that you'll want to purchase a home in the same condition. Just do the best you can!
If you need wall paper removed or entire rooms painted, I happy to recommend painters and handymen if you need additional help.
It's a process and I'm here for you every step of the way!
